Life. Death. Reincarnation. But how? In Life of Death, you’ll find two timeless characters that find a remarkable relation to each other. And who is the crazed man in the padded room counting the seconds away? The mystery of this story will leave you thinking you know the identity of these nameless characters, but a surprise ending brings this darkened tale to a twist. Violins, padded rooms, a darkened cave bring you the setting of Life of Death. The rest is up to you.

What they’re saying about it:

*
“I have started reading others’ mysteries. And like many mysteries, this one is full of life, love, pain, anger, sadness, and death. This story could also be considered a thriller, if you read it like that. If what I just said has confused you, I meant to. This story is meant to be in YOUR perspective. What is the time setting of this story? The town setting? The race of the characters? What is the origin itself? The author left that decision to our own imagination, which makes a story always interesting and makes you unable to put it down. I give Life of Death a five star rating.”–Goodreads Reviewer

“Nicholas McGirr’s “Life of Death” is a cerebral game of cat and mouse. I started reading this thinking I had a good idea of what and who the stranger was based on the title and thought perhaps this would be a predictable plot. However, I found myself challenging my assumptions as the stranger’s past and present were revealed. This kept me turning pages well into the night.”–Goodreads Reviewer

As well as battling for Mary’s affection, he has to fight off the attentions of the local mafia in a fight that can have only one outcome .
*
What they’re saying about it:
*
“Her Latin Lover is a wonderful blend of spunkiness and romance. It has to be everyone’s worst fear to be stuck in a foreign country without any friends or money. Fortunately there is a handsome man who is willing to come to the rescue of the damsel in distress, but this damsel is no one to be messed with. She has backbone to spare. Of course you can’t have a romance without a little mutual attraction and lots of flat-out chemistry. If you have ever fantasized about the strong silent type this is the book for you.”–Amazon Reviewer

Two sisters. One summer. One secret.

Eleven-year-old Julianne Kobalsky and her nine-year-old sister Marylynne are sharing a summer like any other: looking for fairies in the garden, reading about the Russian Princess Anastasia, and holding impromptu tea parties. However, this year, nothing seems to be quite the same…
*
Can the sisters face their family’s secret and find a way to accept it?
*
Eggs is a novella written as a combination of prose vignettes, poems, invented (but factually accurate) encyclopedia articles, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and more. This novella, approximately 50 pages in length, can be read and enjoyed on different levels by children ages 8 and up and by adults.
*

What they’re saying about it:

“Now I remember how satisfying a short story can be. I will never look at a plastic Easter egg again without glancing around to see what else I might find”

“This story is beautifully written. I felt as if I knew the sisters, enjoyed the whimsy of childhood, saddened by the realty of life and how children view their world.”–Amazon Reviewer

What they’re saying about it:
*
“I just saw there was a giveaway for this book! But it’s fine it was only 4 bucks to download. It was a great read. I’ve always loved witches, but this was a different take. Egyptian mystical witches! And Isis is her grandmother. They go into astronomy, astronomy and alchemy. A lot of A’s. But I like it. It’s an adult read but not a romance novel more wordy. I’m in love with her love interest Luri he sounds adorable and can read minds. Over blood suckers. Kind of ended with a cliff hanger, I hope the second book comes out soon!”

*
Unfortunately, the police are unable to answer that question, but there is one man that might know the answer – Travis Knight. He knows capturing the diabolical angel of death will be no easy task as the list of suspects is long, and time is running out. The frantic chase is on as Detective Brikler races to bring the maniacal killer to justice.
*
What they’re saying about it:
*
“Travis and Brickler are quite a combination and I, for one, am thrilled they are back! As a die-hard psychological and police thriller fanatic, I anxiously awaited their return after having much enjoyed the first book in this series. Hellfire Vengeance will have you scrolling non-stop as it keeps you guessing “who done it” until the very end. Additionally, you will come to doubt your opinion as to who the bad and good guys are. Nothing is black and white in this story. The lines between good and evil blur until you don’t know who you should be cheering for. It’s a great read and the end will surely come as a surprise to you. A must-read!!”–Amazon Reviewer

Latchkeys: Unlatched by Steve Savile
Type: Novelette, Series
Genre: Childrens, YA Fantasy
Price: $0.99
Where to Get It:
Amazon (Kindle)        Barnes and Noble
*
*
Matt Fisher was a normal boy–until he found the Door. The Door that led to the House. The House whose Doors opened into places all over the world–and into worlds that had been, and would be, and even never were. But Matt wasn’t the only one who’d found his way in. Now he had something the man named Twig wanted, something that could sow the seeds to everything’s destruction. This first book in the spine-tingling Latchkeys series sets the stage for more adventures with Matt Fisher and the rest of the Latchkeys Kids!
*
What they’re saying about it:
*
In an age where far too many writers seem to think “children’s literature” means simplistic writing and two dimensional characters, it’s a refreshing change to read Mr. Savile’s take on the age old story of a child finding a hidden doorway. But the doors lead to a complex world we sadly only get a glimpse of, where one can go just about anywhere or anywhen, but there are monstrous beings lurking in (or perhaps ARE) the shadows, beings that frankly seem to be more in control of things than the protagonists. There are no easy “click your slippers and all will be well” outs, and truthfully, this fact may unsettle very young readers as much as it delights the pre-teens and up. It makes for a story that rings true and leaves you wanting more– but thankfully, more sequels are due soon.
