Themis is a burnout painter who stumbles on a crime scene. Ali, one of his black neighbours, is brutally stabbed to death in an alley in Thessaloniki. Themis spots two Neo-Nazis lurking nearby and then it hits him: inspiration courses through him and he creates a masterpiece. Themis craves inspiration as much as the truth though…. But is inspiration worth dying for?

What they’re saying about it:

I was pulled into the story and in the end I wished to have more. The action in this book was so good and just enough for me to have a small adrenaline rush.

I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars because although it was very well written and the depth of development was good, I personally am not a massive fan of violence in books. However, I would recommend this read and believe that it is a brilliant look into the human psyche and also a fast paced, action packed story.

Desperate father Ian McKinley moves his delinquent teenage son to the small Virginia town of Keeling Creek, a place very unlike the New York City life he has been leading. Love takes him by surprise when he falls for Colby Williams, a woman unlike anyone he has ever been drawn to, a small town vet with a heart for animals and a fierce love for a teenage daughter she is also struggling to raise.

But Colby has a secret in her past, a secret she’s not sure her daughter will ever forgive her for. And as for Ian McKinley, he seems too good to be true. If she had learned anything from the one time she had thrown her heart fully into love, it was that it didn’t last.

Review from Amazon: It’s a zombie story without a zombie in sight.  It’s set three hundred  years in the future or maybe it’s right now.  Damned if I know.  What I  do know is this is one hell of a cool ride.  It starts pretty quickly  and never loses momentum.  The two main characters are easy to root for  and the main villain is very easy to hate.  There are no shades of gray  (fifty or otherwise) in this world Cronan has created.  You’re on one  side or the other and the line between the two is very clearly  dilineated.  There’s a very Alan Moore-esque feel to this and it kept me turning the pages.  This deserves your time.

An amazon uk Top 10 Bestseller in 2012

Prince Dashan has been used to getting things his own way, with servants
to cater to his every whim. As the crown prince, it is essential that he
is protected and he is followed everywhere by his bodyguard, Ryland.
Dashan can’t even head to a tavern with his friends without Ryland somehow
turning up and spoiling his fun.

Dashan disguises himself as a peasant one night and sneaks off to the
brothel that he’s heard rumours about – a brothel that caters for men who
like men. The prince finds it difficult to admit to himself what his true
desires are – he yearns to submit his will to someone else. And Ryland is
just the man to show him what that truly means.

What they’re saying about it:

“This story is well written, with strong characters. This is especially
important in such a short story…I got a good feel for both of the
characters and became sympathetic to their plight.” – Rainbow Book
Reviews.

“Her characters are so intense and real that the second you finish the
story, you’re in utter shock and denial that the characters are not
actually standing in front of you, her writing style is absolutely lovely
for she has a way of making words flow along the pages, and she knows how
to entice the readers from the very beginning (of course having a half
naked man on the cover does help).” – Reader review by Reina Lorraine.

The aliens are here, and now our lives are different: no wars, no  hunger, no exploitation. For political prisoner Thomas Bridge, there can be a strange new love; for the alien delegate, Avdryana, there can be  companionship in a world that she finds crowded and foreign. But even  with hope for the future, can there be an escape from the stifling ideas and expectations of the past?
*
“All Roads Lead to Winter” is a novella that deals with parallel worlds, politics, sexual tension, the grip of memory, the strength and  generosity of women, the beauty of being together. It also looks at the  pain of old lives that have not yet adjusted to the new.
*
An intimate drama with a vast background, a love story about heartbreak  and hope, it uses the framework of science fiction to examine the very  human costs of change and loss and new perspectives.
