‘The Tale of Greta Gumboot and Other Stories’ is a collection of illustrated children’s magical adventure stories about brave (and not so brave) boys, girls, wizards, witches, talking animals and more. The tales are set in strange and wonderful worlds, sparkling with magic. There’s also a selection of rhyming stories in the collection. These include some of my favourites the Epheline stories. He’s a very magical animal who is part cat, part Elephant, particularly cute, furry and purple as they come. He loves cakes and has the ability to let out a magical musical whistle, which sends children safely to sleep back in their own soft, warm beds. He prefers only to come out at night and is about to make some wonderful new friends in the woods and the park. The tales make great bedtime stories for kids. The story collection is aimed at boys and girls ranging in age from 5 to 8, although younger children can still enjoy being read to from the book and older children may enjoy the book too. There’s plenty of fun and adventures for any child. My magical book is available in paperback and in eBook form on the amazon kindle.

What they’re saying:

Review by Will Kalif from http://fantasyguide.stormthecastle.com. Five stars on amazon.com.

This is a fun book for children with tales of wizardry and magic. It is full of stories about dragons, unicorns and more. It also includes some enchanting rhymes. I enjoyed this book and it is suitable for children and adults of all ages. The stories, rhymes, and illustrations were all done by Lee. It is a nice creative work.

A Great Collection of Stories for Children(review by Barbara J. Smith) five stars on Amazon.com.

“The Tale of Greta Gumboot and Other Stories,” by Lee Pritchett, is a wonderful collection of stories set in a magical world. Greta Gumboot, the bad witch of the forest, loved turning forest animals into wonderful tasty treats. Imagine a real bunny turned into a chocolate bunny. Yummy! But, of course, this really wasn’t a nice thing to do so Greta Gumboot was taught a lesson by those very same animals she’d eaten. What a cute story with a good lesson. Greta Gumboot, bad witch-turned-good, ends up helping others and being a good friend to those she used to turn into candy! Greta Gumboot is just the first of several exciting tales in this book…

Emma Walker was a writer who’d lost herself to someone else’s anger–who had given up on ever feeling like herself again.

Evan Levesque was a rock-god–the one all the woman wanted, but he’d never gotten used to the loneliness between the stage and real life.

With just one cup of coffee they’ll begin a journey of self-discovery at each others sides, but can Emma handle Evan’s fame while dealing with her own demons? Emma’s checkered personal past, a bad relationship that haunts the edges of her memories, threatens to make everything implode on them when Evan takes matters into his own hands.

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but your words…they’ll destroy my soul–Can Emma handle being put back together and facing who she’s become because of it?

What they’re saying about it:

“In a world of shocker NA (of which I am a huge fan, do not get me wrong), this book stood out.”

“it is honest and real with great characters who are beautifully flawed and I thoroughly enjoyed it”

“Love Exactly was sweet, kind, gentle. It was like falling in love for the first time. The exhilarating, almost breathless journey from friends to more. I wasn’t emotionally ripped apart or beaten to a pulp, in fact it was just the opposite. If you’re looking for something to ease the heartache caused by those dark/emotional reads this is what I would recommend.”

Heavily based on the intriguing and relatable real world phenomenon of lucid dreaming (the ability to control ones’ dreams), Roers’ debut novel tells the anything but ordinary, coming of age story of a small town, teen aged, misfit named Travis Hunter.

Disfigured at birth and ostracized at school, Travis dreams of acceptance and secretly yearns for the affection of a beautiful young woman named Corrine. When a mysterious doctor promises to help Travis through something called lucid dreaming, Travis suddenly finds himself ushered into a secret society called “The Lucid,” a collection of social outcasts like himself who have created their own world inside of dreams.

When Travis discovers he has the ability to transport Corrine into these dreams, he gets more than he ever bargained, soon discovering the secrets of love and life in a fantastic, unconscious world.

An instant classic, Lucid is a timeless story of self-acceptance with a fresh paranormal twist.

What they’re saying:

Not only a fun read, but fifty percent of the author’s proceeds are being donated to anti-bullying organizations! Enjoy a fun book at a discounted price and help people at the same time- what could be better than that? Download today!

Publisher’s Weekly says, The relation between perception and “reality” is intriguing … Brimming with adolescent angst regarding intimacy and choice, this simplistic bildungsroman will most appeal to young fantasy fans.”

“This is a novel that respects its readers as much as its characters, and that’s a beautiful rarity.” ~ Mike Flanagan, Filmmaker, Absentia & Oculus
